Marilyn specializes in working with creative artists both behind-the-camera and behind-the-curtain including costume designers, production designers, visual effects supervisors, makeup designers, cinematographers, sound designers, film editors and more.
She has executed client awards campaigns for the Oscars, Creative Arts Emmys, BAFTA and Tony Awards as well as numerous guild-specific awards.
Prior to founding Storyline Public Relations, Marilyn was the Director of Publicity at Impact24 PR, where she created and expanded new client divisions to highlight the work of filmmakers and theater creatives that were underrepresented in the entertainment industry.
With strong media relations, she has secured placements for clients in outlets such as Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, TIME, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, E!, Vogue, Fashionista, Vanity Fair and many more.
Marilyn has produced PR campaigns for craftspeople on feature films including "Black Panther," "The Shape of Water," "Crazy Rich Asians," "Motherless Brooklyn," "Hacksaw Ridge," "BlacKkKlansman," "Rocketman," "Blade Runner 2049," and "The Favourite," to name a few.
She has also worked with behind-the-camera talent on television projects including "Euphoria," "A Series of Unfortunate Events," "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," "Queer Eye," "True Detective," "Ballers," and "The Umbrella Academy."
Additionally specializing in promoting the work of behind-the-curtain artists, Marilyn has worked with craftspeople on shows including "Eclipsed," "Slave Play," "The Rose Tattoo," and "Once On This Island."
